Production Operator - Jindivick, Victoria | Full Time

About our role:

You will prepare fresh ingredients, mix and blend products, perform general cleaning, and participate in cheese-making operations. You'll work with a diverse team on a rotating Monday-to-Sunday roster, with opportunities to increase earnings through overtime before Christmas and during the busy season.

You will work on fixed day and afternoon shifts in a full-time role, with the opportunity for regular overtime during our busy October-to-January peak season.

Responsibilitiesinclude:

• Performs duties of manual nature. Fresh ingredient preparation, mixing, general cleaning. Cheese making.
• Plan and organise own work tasks, sorting out priorities and monitoring own performance.
• Meet scheduling outcomes. Identify and report issues affecting work outcomes.
• Maintain health and safety work area for self and others.
• Follow quality control procedures. Inspect quality of work on an ongoing basis and accept responsibility for quality of their own work.
• Maintain food safety and GMP standards.
• Operation of supplied equipment.

About you:

• Have experience in food manufacturing industry, specifically in production area.
• Desirable experience in dairy products.
• Good communication skills.
• Have flexibility for working in rotating Monday to Sunday roster and for overtime.
• Physically fit for labour-intensive hands-on work.
• Hygiene standards knowledge and experience.
