Event Coordinator

Picture this: a couple walks into their reception exactly as they imagined it, or a corporate client's conference runs without a hitch – and you're the person who made it happen. That's the everyday magic of this role.

We're after an Event Coordinator to join our venues team, working across Half Acre (South Melbourne), and Carousel (Albert Park), to deliver exceptional weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations, and assisting at our spectacular Sunnyside Events on occasion as well. You'll also get the taste of our headline events like the Australian Grand Prix and the Melbourne Cup Carnival, but weddings and in-venue events are where you'll really make your mark.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be the calm, organised force behind the scenes, working closely with couples and corporate clients to deliver seamless events at our venues:

•       Being the go-to contact for wedding and corporate clients, guiding them through planning with confidence and warmth

•       Crafting floor plans, run sheets, and event briefs tailored to each venue and occasion

•       Liaising with suppliers and internal teams to bring every detail to life

•       Managing event admin through TripleSeat

•       Being on-site for events to make sure everything runs exactly to plan

What You'll Bring

•       1 year experience coordinating events, ideally weddings and/or corporate events

•       A natural at building relationships and communicating with ease, especially with clients planning some of the biggest days of their lives

•       A sharp eye for detail and a genuine love of food & wine

•       Rock-solid organisation and time-management skills

•       Availability to work a Tuesday – Saturday week, including weekends
