Senior Finance Officer

Hunter Manning is proud to be partnering with a dynamic, fast-growing & agile organisation to recruit a Senior Finance Officer on a permanent basis.
  
Based in Perth, this newly created role presents a rare opportunity to join a business in an exciting phase of growth and transformation.
  
As a key member of the finance team, you will report directly to the CFO and Founder to play a pivotal role in shaping the Accounts & Payroll processes. You will be doing a wide variety of tasks across multiple entities from processing invoices up to trial balance - day in day out.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day financial transactions including AP/AR, invoicing, payroll, superannuation, and BAS preparation.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledgers.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for management.
• Maintain accurate financial records and support year-end accounting and tax processes.
• Assist management with financial planning and operational forecasting.
• Review and improve financial processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance.

About You:

• 3+ years experience within a multi-entity commercial environment or Accounting Practice.
• Experience operating at Bookkeeper or Assistant Accountant level.
• Experienced in intercompany transactions & reconciliations.
• Demonstrated success in driving business improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
• Outgoing & personable character who actives wants to contribute to a fun work culture.
