Job Title: Precast Concreting-Steel Fixer / Skilled Labourer

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Precast Concreting- Steel Fixer / Skilled Labourer to join our team. This hands-on role will involve working within a precast concrete environment, contributing to the safe, efficient, and high-quality production of concrete products.

• Install, cut, bend, and tie reinforcing steel (rebar) for precast concrete products

• Assist with formwork setup, mould preparation, and concrete pours

• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently

• Follow production schedules and supervisor instructions to meet deadlines

• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment

• Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications

• Assist with general labouring duties as required

• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets

• Follow all Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) requirements and site procedures

• Report hazards, incidents, and near misses promptly

• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times

• Contribute to maintaining a safe and positive workplace culture

• Ensure work is completed to a high standard of quality

• Previous experience in precast concreting and steel fixing (essential)

• Experience in a manufacturing or construction environment

• Ability to read and interpret basic drawings (preferred)

• Strong work ethic and reliability

• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Good communication skills

• Construction White Card

• Forklift licence (desirable)

• Current driver’s licence (preferred)
