PMO Analyst

About the Role  

The PMO Analyst supports the Director of Enterprise Portfolio Management by providing governance, assurance, strategic analysis and planning, while contributing to effective portfolio management and a high-performing Project Assurance team. 

Key Accountabilities 

• Develop and maintain governance frameworks, methodologies, processes and templates aligned with DGS requirements. 

• Provide expert guidance and support to project teams on governance, planning and scheduling. 

• Develop and manage integrated master project schedules, tracking dependencies, progress, risks and issues. 

• Review project documentation and analyse project performance to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders. 

• Drive continuous improvement and deliver PMO training across project management, governance, risk management and supporting tools. 

About You   

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following attributes: 

• Proven experience as a PMO Analyst within a high-performing EPMO/PMO environment. 

• Strong proficiency in PMO tools, including PPM, Jira and Confluence. 

• Ability to independently manage PMO priorities, workloads and competing demands in complex environments. 

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, including handling complex issues where established policies or precedents may not exist. 

• Excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex information to diverse audiences. 

This position is Fixed Term for until May 2027. This position is only open to applicants with relevant rights to work in Australia.
