What You'll Be Doing
Ensure ordering, food preparation, cooking production, presentation methods and distribution services are in accordance with the food safety program.Prepare meals for special dietary requirementsRotate stock and monitor the quality of stock receivedReport maintenance requirementsHave the skills of a Food Safety Supervisor
What We're Looking For
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
Proven knowledge and application of cooking requirements and techniques.Proven ability to follow standard recipes and catering procedures.Good communication skills, both written and verbal.Good organisational and problem solving skills.Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.Ability to maintain records and documents relevant to the position.
Mandatory Requirements
Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16Possession of an Accredited Food Safety Supervisor qualification. It is a requirement of this position that the qualification must be obtained within three (3) months of commencement in the position if not already held.
