Surface Diamond Drillers + Drillers Assistants

About the role:

Trimac Drilling is seeking Expressions of interest from experienced and motivated persons to fill their Surface Diamond Drillers role.

Location:

Positions will be Victorian Based on a Contract/Casual basis (Full time hours during contract) with accommodation and meals provided when working away from home.

The successful candidates should possess the following:

Experienced Surface Driller - Diamond / Multi-purpose

As an Experienced Surface Diamond Driller, you will be an integral part of our Exploration Drilling Team. Your expertise will contribute directly to the safe and efficient delivery of drilling services provided to our clients.

Key responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain Drilling Rigs and ancillary equipment.

• Accurately document drilling activities and complete daily reports.

• Work closely with clients to optimise drilling outcomes.

• Keep safety at the forefront of every task.

• Supervise/manage drill crew and daily operations.

• Strong experience with surface diamond drilling.

• Exposure to various drilling methods.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt in the field.

• Team-oriented with experience mentoring less experienced team members.

• Training of Less experienced team members.

Skills and experience:

• Minimum 3-5yrs Experience as a Diamond Driller (surface)

• Candidates must possess 3-4 years of diamond drilling experience as a surface driller.

• Excellent Mechanical aptitude, problem solving and troubleshooting skills

• Great communication skills: Verbal, written and visual

• Safety first mindset with pride in quality drilling

• Physically fit and prepared for all drilling operation tasks, able to lift up to 35kgs

• Able to handle 12-hour shifts

• Leadership experience and a focus on crew safety over production.

• Able to pass a full pre-employment medical & drug/alcohol screening

• Current non Synchro HR license.

• First Aid/CPR certificate

• National Police Check & full Australian working rights
  

Preferable skills:

• Certificate III or IV in Drilling Operations

• Valid HR manual driver's licence
