Senior Manager, Compliance – 6 & 9-Month Fixed Term Contract

In this role, you'll partner closely with stakeholders across the business to strengthen compliance outcomes, support strategic initiatives, and help shape a strong governance framework in a fast-evolving environment.

You'll play a key role in driving compliance transformation, enhancing risk awareness, and ensuring the business meets its regulatory obligations. This is an opportunity to influence meaningful change, work with senior leaders, and contribute to the continued success of a global organisation committed to innovation and customer excellence.

You will also be responsible for the following:

These roles support Zurich Cover-More and report to the Head of Travel Compliance within Zurich Australia, you will act as a trusted partner across the business, supporting a range of transformation initiatives to strengthen and uplift our existing compliance frameworks and programs

Implement and maintain enterprise-wide risk and compliance frameworks, ensuring alignment to Group frameworks and local lawsSupport, advise and conduct compliance risk trainingConduct regular risk, compliance and privacy assessments, ensuring gaps are identified and addressed promptlySupport compliance reporting to executive and board committeesSupport BAU compliance advisory activities.

To be successful, you will have the following:

Proven experience in a senior risk, compliance and privacy roles, ideally within financial services or insuranceRelevant tertiary qualifications in Risk, Compliance, Business or LawStrong working knowledge with AFSL and Australian Corporations Act obligationsClear communication skills and confidence engaging and influencing stakeholdersInnovative thinker to support business strategyProactive and flexible, with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environmentKnowledge of New Zealand regulatory environment and/ general insurance advantageous
