Summary:

The Production Worker – Bar Line Operator plays a crucial role in our manufacturing operations at Moorabbin Airport, Victoria. This permanent, full-time position involves the efficient operation of bar line machinery, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall productivity of the team and support the continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor bar line machinery to ensure efficient production flow.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
• Assist in the training of new staff on machinery operation and safety procedures.
• Record production data and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
• Basic mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if required.
