About the Role

As a Care Support Worker in our Residential Services, you’ll support customers living in shared homes to lead safe, independent, and fulfilling lives. Working as part of a close-knit team, you’ll provide consistent, person-centred care in a 24/7 environment, helping customers achieve their goals in a home-like setting.

Key Responsibilities

Provide assistance with personal care, including bathing/showering, feeding, dressing, grooming, bowel and catheter care, and manual handlingAssist with daily living tasks such as cleaning, assist with meals and household routinesSupport customers to build life skills and independenceFacilitate community access and social participationMedication assistance, domestic assistance and documentationImplement individual care plans and behaviour support strategiesMaintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environmentAccurately document care and report any changes in customer wellbeingComplete all mandatory training annually

Must-haves

Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (or equivalent)Experience in disability, aged care, or residential supportAbility to work a rotating roster including weekends, sleepovers, and public holidaysStrong communication skills and a team-first attitudeCurrent CPR and First Aid CertificateCurrent driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicleNDIS Worker Screening Check and NDIS Worker Orientation Module (or willingness to obtain)
