Medical Receptionist

Receptionist | Peak Flo Physio, Coolangatta

As the first point of contact for our pelvic health clinic, the receptionist plays a central role in creating a calm, welcoming, and professional environment for every patient.

This position is responsible for the smooth coordination of front desk operations, ensuring an exceptional patient experience while supporting the clinical team in delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcoming patients and creating a supportive, comfortable clinic environment
• Managing appointments, bookings, and clinician schedules using Cliniko
• Handling phone, email, and in-person enquiries in a professional and empathetic manner
• Processing payments, invoices, and private health fund claims
• Managing billing processes including DVA and WorkCover claims
• Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records
• Supporting clinicians with administrative tasks as required
• Ensuring reception and clinic spaces are clean, organised, and aligned with brand standards

About You:

• Strong communication skills with a warm, patient-centred approach
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
• Confident using Cliniko or similar practice management software
• Experience with private health billing, DVA, and WorkCover processes is highly regarded
• A genuine interest in health and wellbeing, particularly women’s and pelvic health
