Merri-bek Early Years Management (MEYM) proudly manages 8 high-quality, stand-alone kindergartens in the Merri-bek municipality. We are a not for-profit organisation focused on delivering outstanding 3 and 4 year kindergarten to local families within the communities where our services operate.

Are you a passionate and experienced early childhood teacher looking to make a meaningful impact in a community-focused service? MEYM is seeking a dedicated part-time Early Childhood Teacher (22.5 hours per week) to become an integral part of our vibrant and supportive team from the beginning of Term 4 2025.

In this role, you will:

• Engage children in meaningful, play-based learning experiences that spark curiosity and develop a love of learning
• Build strong relationships with families and the wider community to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere
• Guide a team of committed professionals to ensure high-quality educational programs, compliance with regulatory standards, and a safe and nurturing environment that supports every child’s wellbeing and development

Qualifications & Requirements

• ECT qualification approved by ACECQA
• Current VIT registration (Early Childhood)
• Child Safety training aligned with Victorian Child Safe Standards
• First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma certification (HLTAID012 or equivalent)
