We are seeking a highly energetic Delivery Manager with proven experience gained from large Power infrastructure projects/ programs of work to join our Fulton Hogan Utilities business in New South Wales. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your career within a vibrant delivery team that is proud to partner with our client to deliver world class utilities services for the customers and communities within which we operate.
In this role you'll be responsible for:Take ownership of the day-to-day delivery of multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring outcomes are achieved within time, cost and quality expectationsReview Project programs, contract requirements, budgets and forecasts regularly to track performance, manage risks, and implement mitigation where neededDevelop a clear understanding of contract conditions, specifications and drawings, and ensure Work Packs and delivery plans align with contractual and company requirementsTake Accountability for financial performance by monitoring expenditure, forecasting costs to completion, managing productivity, and controlling contractual risks and opportunitiesProvide Strong leadership to project teams by setting expectations, supporting Project Managers, resolving complex issues, and maintaining focus on safety, quality, cost and project outcomesBuild Team capability through performance reviews, regular check-ins, training, workforce planning, and medium- to long-term resourcing strategiesMaintain Effective stakeholder engagement by communicating professionally, building strong relationships, aligning teams to program objectives, and supporting business growth opportunities. How you'll connect to the role:Tertiary Qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or Equivalent experienceMinimum 10 years previous experience in a similar roleExperience on construction projects in electrical utilities infrastructureSolid understanding of Australian electrical standards, electrical systems, installations and construction methodsExcellent communication and collaboration abilities with strong computer literacyStrong time management and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of project financial management, forecasting, procurement, design and contracts management functionsAdopting and driving Fulton Hogan's Living Safely 2.0 Culture.
