Are you great with people, eager to learn, and looking to build a long-term career in the automotive industry? Melville Toyota is seeking a Trainee Service Advisor to join our busy and growing Service team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills who wants to learn the service advisory role from the ground up. No previous automotive experience is required, we will provide full training, mentoring, and ongoing support to set you up for success.

About the Role

As a Trainee Service Advisor, you will learn how to support our customers through their vehicle servicing journey while working closely with our experienced Service Advisors and Workshop team. You’ll be trained in all aspects of the role, with clear pathways for development and career progression.

This role offers:

Key Responsibilities

With training and support, you will learn to:

• Greet customers and create a friendly, professional first impression

• Listen to customer concerns and gather vehicle service information

• Assist with booking service appointments and managing daily schedules

• Communicate with technicians to ensure work is completed accurately and on time

• Learn how to explain service recommendations and costs clearly

• Support the team in maintaining accurate service records

• Handle customer enquiries professionally and with empathy

• Contribute to a positive, team-focused service environment

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused

• Eager to learn and develop new skills

• Confident communicating with people face-to-face and over the phone

• Organised, reliable, and able to multitask

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment

• Interested in cars and the automotive industry (experience not required)

Customer service, hospitality, retail, or call-centre experience will be highly regarded.
