Admoor Plumbing is a well-established plumbing and irrigation business servicing commercial, domestic, and horticultural clients across regional Victoria. Based in Mooroopna and employing around 30 staff, we have built a strong reputation for delivering quality workmanship, practical solutions, and exceptional customer service.

As demand for our irrigation services continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Irrigation Design & Sales Consultant to help drive the ongoing success of our irrigation division.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated irrigation professional who combines strong technical knowledge with a passion for client relationships and business development.

Working closely with clients, suppliers, and our installation teams, you will be responsible for designing and selling irrigation systems across commercial and residential turf applications, horticultural operations, and associated pumping and filtration systems.

The role offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to play a key role in the growth of an established and respected business.

Key Responsibilities

• Design irrigation systems for commercial and domestic turf applications, horticultural operations, and pumping and filtration systems.
• Conduct site inspections and client consultations to determine project requirements.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender submissions.
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities across target markets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, landscapers, developers, architects, growers, and industry stakeholders.
• Specify suitable equipment including pumps, filtration systems, controllers, and reticulation components.
• Provide technical support and guidance to installation and project teams.
• Liaise with suppliers regarding product selection, pricing, and emerging technologies.
• Maintain accurate records of quotations, sales activities, and customer interactions.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant Australian Standards, water authority requirements, and workplace safety obligations.
• Contribute to the growth and development of Admoor Plumbing’s irrigation division.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Essential

• 2-5 years’ experience in irrigation design, irrigation sales, technical sales, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience designing irrigation systems for turf and/or horticultural applications.
• Sound understanding of pumping and filtration systems.
• Strong relationship-building and consultative sales skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Current Victorian Driver’s Licence.
• The ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities.

Desirable

• Certificate III or IV in Irrigation, Horticulture, or a related discipline.
• Experience using irrigation design software and/or CAD programs.
• Existing industry contacts within irrigation, turf, landscaping, horticulture, or agriculture.
• Knowledge of contemporary irrigation products and technologies.
