State Operations Manager – Cleaning Services to manage our commercial cleaning service operations across Victoria. The State Operations Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating commercial cleaning operations across multiple client sites throughout Victoria.

The role involves responsibility for service delivery, workforce planning, client relationships, operational and financial performance, contract delivery and quality standards. Benefits This is a full time position with a annual salary of $85000 - $90000 plus superannuation.

Task & responsibilities Key Responsibilities but not limited to: Manage commercial cleaning service operations across multiple client sites throughout Victoria. Develop and maintain cleaning programs, operational procedures, work schedules and site-specific service requirements. Plan staffing requirements and coordinate the deployment of cleaning personnel, team leaders, equipment and resources across client sites.

Manage staff rostering and workforce coverage across client sites. Oversee the recruitment, induction and training of cleaning employees and monitor staff performance and productivity. Conduct site visits, inspections and quality assessments to ensure cleaning services meet contractual requirements and agreed quality standards.

Maintain strong relationships with clients and site representatives and resolve service-related concerns and operational issues. Oversee the availability and effective use of cleaning equipment, chemicals, uniforms and other operational supplies. Manage site budgets, monitor labour costs, operating expenses and revenue, and maintain financial records relating to cleaning contracts.

Analyse site performance and implement improvements where service, productivity or cost-efficiency standards are not being achieved. Prepare and review quotations, pricing, service proposals and operational requirements for new and existing cleaning contracts. Manage the performance of cleaning contracts to ensure services are delivered in accordance with agreed specifications, quality standards and client expectations.

Maintain operational records and reports relating to workforce performance, inspections, service delivery and site operations. Ensure employees follow workplace procedures, safety requirements and company standards relating to commercial cleaning operations.   Qualification & experience A minimum Diploma qualification in Business, Management or a relevant field.

At least 1 year of relevant management experience in commercial cleaning. Strong ability to manage multiple client sites and operational teams. Strong knowledge of workforce planning, rostering and service delivery.

Ability to monitor labour costs, budgets and operational performance. Excellent client relationship management and problem-solving skills. Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills.
