Electrical Trade Assistant – Marine / Auto Electrical

JSE Marine Electrical is a small, tight-knit team based in Lake Macquarie, and we’re looking for a reliable and motivated Electrical Trade Assistant to join us.

This is a hands-on role working alongside qualified marine electricians on a variety of vessels, assisting with installation, maintenance, and upgrades of marine electrical systems.

About the Role:

• Assist with installation of marine electronics and electrical systems

• General workshop and on-site support

• Cable running, fit-offs, and basic electrical tasks

• Working across marinas and vessels in the Lake Macquarie / Port Stephens area

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in an electrical trade assistant role

• Auto electrical experience highly regarded

• Boating or marine experience preferred

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions

• Current driver’s licence (essential)

• BIA Marine Card (required)

Preferred Certifications / Qualifications (or willingness to obtain):

• Working at Heights

• Confined Spaces

• First Aid
