My Care Living is seeking a female Mandarin-speaking Disability Support Worker to support a participant in the Benowa area. This is a person-centred role focused on delivering consistent, respectful, and high-quality care.

Important:
Due to the participant’s personal care needs (including bathing and dressing), this role requires a female support worker as a genuine occupational requirement.
Fluency in Mandarin is essential to communicate effectively with the participant.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide personal care and daily living support with patience and respect
• Assist with community access and social activities
• Support the participant to build skills and independence
• Follow support plans and implement positive behaviour strategies
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation
• Work collaboratively with the team and allied health professionals

What We’re Looking For

• Fluent in Mandarin (essential)
• Female support worker (genuine occupational requirement due to personal care needs)
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Current First Aid & CPR
• Experience with manual handling / hoists
• Strong communication and rapport-building skills
• Reliable, calm, and professional attitude
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
• Good attention to detail and documentation skills

Desirable

• Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
• Previous experience in disability or aged care
• Experience supporting participants with complex needs
