Internal Sales Estimator

ProStar Joinery is an Australian manufacturer of timber cabinetry products supplying to Australia’s leading Hardware Supplier, as well as trade and commercial customers nationally. We specialise in retail ready flat pack products, and are rapidly expanding our custom, locally manufactured products for our trade and commercial customers.

Working closely with our Commercial & Trade Account Manager and other team members, you will report directly to the Group General Manager. You will take ownership of estimating, sales support, and technical information of products to customers and internal business groups. 

About the role

We're seeking a highly driven, results orientated estimator and sales specialist who will read and interpret plans, provide estimates and quotes to customer specification, tender documents and convert sales. You will have strong relationship skills and help to develop and grow our positive and collaborative team culture. 

We are seeking a reliable, efficient and customer service orientated estimator on a full-time basis. We believe that our success is attributed to our team and the quality work they perform on duty. Previous knowledge and experience in a similar role or the timber joinery/building/construction industry will be highly regarded. 

You will be responsible for:

• Provide accurate and detailed estimates and quotations to trade and commercial customers through take-offs, cost models and scope reviews.

• Accurate entry of quotes and confirmation of sales orders in CRM system.

• Liaise with Account Manager, Project Managers, Drafting department and teams to execute on company goals.

• Experience with design and/or drafting preferable, but not required.

• Identify any systems improvements and make recommendations for change.

• Acquire knowledge and understanding in Basic Microvellum Cabinet Design System

• Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders regarding the progress of orders.

• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customer base.
