Retail Support Lead

About the Role

We're seeking an energetic and hands‑on Retail Support Lead to help drive excellence across our multi‑site retail operations. In this pivotal role, you'll work closely with the Area Operations Manager to ensure the smooth, efficient and high‑performing day‑to‑day running of multiple campus stores within the region.

You'll be a visible presence on the ground—supporting teams, coaching staff and providing practical operational guidance to ensure every location upholds exceptional standards in service, presentation and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver hands‑on operational support across multiple campus stores.

• Assist the Area Operations Manager with daily store oversight, including sales performance, inventory control and customer experience.

• Train, coach, and develop retail staff, leading by example with a practical, service‑driven approach.

• Analyse sales results, stock levels and operational metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Conduct regular site visits to review performance, provide feedback and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.

• Build strong, positive relationships with store teams and community stakeholders.

• Support the onboarding, coaching and empowerment of new team members.

• Help resolve customer inquiries promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience in retail store management or a multi‑site support role.

• A genuine hands‑on leader—comfortable working on the floor, supporting staff and stepping into operational tasks as needed.

• Strong organisational, communication and problem‑solving skills.

• Ability to work under pressure while managing competing priorities effectively.

• A collaborative mindset with a passion for improving business performance.

• Proven ability to drive KPIs and deliver consistently high operational standards.

• Strong merchandising and inventory management capabilities.

• Proficiency with retail systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Flexibility to travel between sites and adapt to evolving operational needs.
