Internal Sales Representative

As a division of Coregas, Blacksmith Jacks is a specialist in the industrial gas and welding industry. We also stock and supply a large range of hand tools, power tools, generators, PPE, welding consumables and more.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, we're looking for a self-motivated and safety-focused team player to join the team in an Internal Sales role and help us achieve our goals. 

What you will be doing

• Providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring high customer satisfaction levels and maximising sales opportunities.
• Greeting customers and attending to phone and email enquiries in a professional and timely manner
• Merchandising the showroom to a high standard and restocking shelves
• Undertaking stocktakes, ensuring a high level of accuracy
• Identifying stock or products that are slow moving
• Monitoring and actioning back-order reports daily
• Maintaining a safe, clean and tidy showroom at all times
• Administration tasks as required.

What we need from you

• Demonstrated experienced in a retail, sales or customer service environment, ideally from a trades/industrial background.
• A passion for providing excellent customer service and achieving sales targets
• Demonstrated ability of working safely, being accountable, acting ethically, and treating everyone with respect
• A flexible can-do attitude and ability to adapt
• Demonstrated ability to work well both in a team environment and independently
• Ability to undertake accurate stock counts and maintain high attention to detail
• Good computer skills and experience using POS systems.
• Willing and able to work in a fast-paced environment, where you will be on your feet most of the day.

A background or interested in the industrial and/or welding industry is highly desirable. A driver's license and forklift license would also be beneficial.
