Feedwell is looking for reliable Packing Assistants to join our Sydney CBD food production team.

You'll be working with fresh food every day - cutting sandwiches and wraps, following set instructions, packing catering orders and making sure every product is consistent, accurate and presentation-ready.

We're looking for someone who is comfortable using a knife, works quickly with their hands, follows instructions carefully and can maintain accuracy when working at pace.

If you've worked in a kitchen, sandwich bar, deli, bakery, catering, food production or fast-paced food environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Fixed shifts with fixed timing

Full-Time - 38.5 hours

Monday-Thursday: 3:00am-11:30am

Friday: 3:00am-10:00am

Permanent Part-Time - 20 hours

Option 1: Monday-Thursday, 5:00am-10:00am

Option 2: Tuesday-Friday, 6:00am-11:00am

What you'll do

• Cut sandwiches and wraps neatly, safely and consistently
• Use a knife confidently to achieve consistent cuts and presentation
• Follow recipes, packing instructions and portion requirements
• Arrange sandwiches and other fresh food neatly into catering boxes
• Check labels and product details carefully
• Pack customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Compare completed orders against customer order forms
• Complete final quality and accuracy checks before dispatch
• Keep your workstation clean, organised and food-safe
• Work at a fast and consistent pace during busy production periods
• Repeat processes accurately while maintaining quality throughout the shift

What we're looking for

• Have good basic knife skills and are comfortable cutting food
• Can work at pace - quickly, efficiently and accurately
• Follow instructions and take feedback 
• Can consistently follow recipes and packing requirements
• Have strong attention to detail
• Care about neat, consistent presentation
• Are comfortable doing repetitive production work
• Keeping the bench and work area clean 
• Are reliable and punctual
• Are comfortable standing for the duration of the shift

Food preparation or production experience is highly regarded.

You don't need to be a chef -- but you do need to be comfortable handling food, using a knife, following instructions and working at pace.

Training will be provided on Feedwell's processes and standards.
