About the role
Insurance Building. Done Differently.
Auscoast Builders is a leading building company specialising in large-loss insurance roofing repairs, predominantly focusing on storm damage to metal roofs.
We work directly with homeowners, managing the repair process from contract through to completion, coordinating our network of trades and working directly with the customer to deliver a quality outcome.
We're seeking an experienced Desktop Project Coordinator to manage large-loss insurance roof replacement projects across QLD and NSW.
The Role
As a Desktop Project Coordinator, you'll take ownership of your jobs from start to finish, coordinating trades, managing timelines and budgets, and working closely with your Site Supervisor to ensure every project is delivered to a high standard.
Your projects will predominantly involve metal roof replacements resulting from insurance claims, so customer communication is a significant part of this role. You'll be responsible for keeping customers informed throughout the repair journey, providing clear and proactive updates, managing expectations, and handling challenging conversations when they arise.
No two days will look exactly the same, but your key responsibilities will include:
Managing large loss insurance repairs, predominantly storm damage to metal roofs.
Liaising with our trade base, allocating and scheduling works throughout your insurance repair portfolio
Providing timely updates to insurance companies, homeowners and internal stakeholders
Overseeing trade activities to ensure all work is being completed to the highest possible quality and safety standards
Managing client relationships, including conflict resolution and providing a high level of customer service.
Why Join the Team
Competitive compensation
Significant bonuses paid on performance
Job security working for a growing and successful company
A positive culture that is exciting and engaging with regular exciting team building events!
What We’re Looking For:
Experience coordinating, scheduling or managing domestic and/or commercial repair projects (or similar fast-paced, multi-job environments).
Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, even with conflicting priorities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Prior experience in the insurance repair industry is advantageous.
Familiarity with CRM systems.
Knowledge of relevant building codes and Australian standards.
A Cert IV in Building & Construction or Site Supervisor’s Certificate is desirable, but not essential.
Confident phone communicator, comfortable managing challenging conversations with a diverse range of customers.
We recognise you may not meet all of the above, but don’t let that deter you. We are always looking for hard workers to join our team, so what are you waiting for?
Ready to join the team?
If you're seeking professional growth, diverse projects, and a supportive team environment, then this role is for you. Apply now via Seek to become part of the Auscoast Builders team.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a short video assessment before progressing to interview, so please keep an eye on your emails after applying.
Auscoast Builders is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all team members. All applications will be treated with confidence.
