Panel Beater

Reporting to the AUS Smash Repairs Manager, you'll play an integral role in repairing a wide range of vehicles and components to the highest standard. This is a hands-on position offering excellent working hours, a competitive salary, and the opportunity to work with a professional and experienced team.

This position will be responsible for;

• Strip and reassemble vehicles and components

• Repair vehicles to a high quality finish

• Operate car alignment systems

• Carry out quality control inspections

• Assist with the procurement of panel shop materials

• Assist with estimating and costing jobs

• Mentor, supervisor and train apprentices

You will also need to possess the following:

• Qualified Panel Beater (Trade Certificate)

• Experience in using car alignment systems

• Experienced in all welding techniques

• Attention to detail

• Unrestricted manual drivers' licence (HR licence preferred)

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in panel beating, be eager to learn and enjoy working in a team environment. This role will require a pre-employment medical to include a drug and alcohol test.
