Qualified Panel Beater

About the role

The position will involve a broad range of panel and structural repair work across fleet and customer vehicles. You will work in a new workshop and spray booth facility as part of a small but busy team primarily focused on fleet vehicle repairs. You should take pride in your workmanship and be comfortable working independently within a fast-paced workshop.

Key responsibilities

• Panel beating and vehicle body repairs

• Chassis and structural repairs including cross members

• Fabrication and welding work

• Accident and fleet damage repairs

• Panel replacement, straightening and alignment

• Strip and reassembly of vehicles

• Working alongside the paint team to ensure efficient job turnaround

• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and quality control

About you

• Trade-qualified Panel Beater

• Chassis repair experience expected

• Strong fabrication and welding experience

• Ability to carry out structural repairs confidently

• Good understanding of vehicle repair methods and processes

• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team

• Strong attention to detail

• Reliable, organised and safety focused

• Current driver's licence

EZY Mechanical is a locally owned and operated business with a growing Panel & Paint division. You'll be joining a small, busy and growing panel shop without the repetitive nature of a large production repair centre. The workload is primarily focused on fleet vehicles, providing a consistent variety of repair work and the opportunity to work across everything from minor panel damage through to chassis, structural and fabrication repairs.
