About the positionThe Community Engagement and Co-Production Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the Hub’s community engagement, co-design and co-production activities. Reporting to the Principal Research Fellow and working closely with the Deputy Director, Community & Co-Design, and OTARC’s community engagement team, you will coordinate activities that ensure the voices, knowledge and priorities of the autism community meaningfully inform the Hub’s work.You will plan, coordinate and continuously improve community engagement activities, ensuring they are accessible, inclusive, well governed and genuinely influential in shaping the Hub’s knowledge translation, research priorities and training initiatives. Skills and ExperienceTo be considered for this position, you will haveA strong understanding of participatory research principles and key concepts.A comprehensive understanding of the Australian autism stakeholder landscape, including individual and organisational stakeholders spanning advocacy, practice, policy, research, and other relevant domains.An advanced theoretical understanding of interpersonal, cultural, structural, and institutional inequity in the context of Neurodiversity and/or Disability.
Highly developed organisational, coordination and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines concurrently in a complex and environment.
Demonstrated experience in budget administration and financial management, including monitoring expenditure, processing payments and reimbursements, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with organisational policies and funding requirements. Experience managing a reimbursement funding pool and supporting financial reporting will be highly regarded.
