Assistant Accountant | Autosports Group

Autosports Group is looking for a committed Assistant Accountant to join our team in Alexandria. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, deal processing, banking, and assisting with financial analysis and reporting. 

Some specific responsibilities of the role include: 

• Record and maintain financial transactions
• Deal processing / Banking process
• Reconcile bank statements
• Reconcile general ledger accounts
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports.
• Maintain accurate and complete financial records

The ideal candidate will have: 

• A degree /diploma in Accounting or a related field is preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Proficiency / Experience with accounting software (Pentana Era experience preferred but not required)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
