Focus Engineering & Construction (Trading) Pty Ltd is seeking an Experienced Fabricator/Welder to join our team in Corowa, NSW. This is a full-time position offering a fantastic opportunity to utilise your expertise in a dynamic and growing organisation. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality fabrication and welding services to our diverse client base, contributing directly to the success of our projects and the reputation of our company.

What you'll be doing

• Performing MIG, TIG and stick welding on various materials including mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium

• Fabricating structural steel components and assemblies according to engineering specifications and drawings

• Operating fabrication machinery and equipment safely and efficiently

• Inspecting work to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints and work orders

• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety protocols

• Collaborating with other team members and supervisors to ensure project deadlines are met

• Performing maintenance on welding and fabrication equipment as required

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder, with demonstrated proficiency in multiple welding processes (MIG, TIG, stick)

• Current and valid welding certifications relevant to the welding processes you will be performing

• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work

• Sound knowledge of health and safety practices in a fabrication workshop environment

• Physical capability to perform the demands of the role, including standing for extended periods and lifting

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Reliability and a professional work ethic

• Experience in a similar trade and services fabrication environment is highly desirable
