Title:
SharePoint and Automation AnalystThe Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SharePoint Online Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining SharePoint Online sites, ensuring their optimal performance, security, and usability. Work tasks will also involve additional Microsoft Cloud Apps such as Teams, One Drive, Copilot and others.
The SharePoint Online Analyst will work closely with various departments to support their collaboration needs and enhance productivity through effective use of SharePoint Online and Teams features and capabilities. The candidate will also be involved with upgrading automated processes and building automated processes as needed.
Key Responsibilities
SharePoint Online Site Administration: Administer, manage, and support the SharePoint Online site collections, sites, libraries, lists, and workflows.
Security Management: Implement and manage security policies, permissions, and access controls to ensure data integrity and compliance with organizational policies.
User Support and Training: Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and conduct training sessions to improve user adoption and proficiency with SharePoint Online.
Data Migration: Plan and execute data migration projects to move content between SharePoint environments or from Shared Drives to SharePoint Online.
Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for SharePoint Online configurations and procedures as needed.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest SharePoint Online features, updates, and best practices to continuously improve the SharePoint environment.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a SharePoint Analyst/Administrator, with a focus on SharePoint Online and Office 365.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in SharePoint Online administration, configuration, and support
Experience with PowerApps, Power Automate, and other Office 365 tools.
Experience with SharePoint migration tool(s)
Security: Strong understanding of SharePoint Online security best practices, including permissions management, data governance, and compliance.
Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Microsoft Teams and OneDrive for Business integration with SharePoint Online.
Experience with Sharegate migration tool
Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell for SharePoint administration tasks.
Some familiarity with third-party SharePoint tools and add-ins specifically Nintex Automation.
Understanding of Agile methodologies and project management practices.
Certifications: Microsoft certifications related to SharePoint Online and Office 365 are preferred.
