RSL Care SA is a proud not for profit charitable care provider serving the ex-service and wider community for over 100 years. In various locations throughout South Australia, we offer Residential Aged Care (Nursing Home), Retirement Living and Affordable Housing.
Our mission is to support veterans, their dependents and the broader ageing community through a range of integrated retirement living and aged care services.
About the Role
We are currently seeking flexible and reliable Personal Carers to join us at our Myrtle Bank. The individuals will be self-motivated with a genuine interest and ability to make a difference in the lives of our residents, which enables individual choice and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living including mobility, continence management, showering, dressing, personal grooming, and eating/drinking
Assist in the daily preparation, service, and delivery of meals to our residents
Observe and record in individual care notes and operate in accordance with care plan
Ensure resident’s comfort and dignity at all time
Recognise health and environmental hazards and be proactive in corrective action
About You
Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
Demonstrated experience and a passion for working in Aged Care.
Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including a Booster shot from the last 12 months) and 2026 Seasonal Influenza vaccination
NDIS Clearance (or willing to obtain one)
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Appreciation and acceptance of diverse cultures and lifestyles
