About the Role

We're looking for a Junior Shopify Developer to join our in-house team in Yatala. Reporting to our Head of Ecommerce and working closely with our Web Developer, you'll help keep our Shopify store and website running smoothly. Building landing pages, fixing bugs, and customising our theme, all while growing your own skills in a hands-on, supportive team.

If you know your way around HTML, CSS and JavaScript, have built or edited Shopify themes using Liquid, and you love finding creative ways to use AI to work faster and smarter, we want to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

• Building and customising Shopify theme sections, product pages, landing pages and templates using Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript

• Creating new landing and product pages from design briefs, and testing them across devices and browsers

• Setting up and troubleshooting apps like Recharge, Rebuy and Judge.me

• Helping diagnose and resolve front-end and site functionality issues across browsers and devices

• Finding and fixing bugs, and running QA checks before changes go live

• Checking tracking tags (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) are firing correctly

• Monitoring site performance, page speed, and Core Web Vitals, flagging issues before they impact customers

• Help diagnose and resolve front-end and site functionality issues across browsers and devices

• Using AI tools daily to speed up development, QA and troubleshooting

What we're looking for

• Background in ecommerce development, web development, or technical product delivery, ideally within ecommerce, retail, or a high-growth digital business

• Solid HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills

• Hands-on experience building or editing Shopify themes using Liquid

• Previous experience working on a Shopify Plus store

• Understanding of ecommerce architecture, integrations, APIs and platform ecosystems

• Confidence working on general web pages and staging environments

• A sharp eye for detail and a natural problem-solver's mindset

• A team player who communicates clearly and works well with others

• A genuine curiosity for AI
