About the role
The Senior Tax Accountant plays a key role in the preparation and review of financial accounting and compliance services to our clients. The role presents a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to quickly become a key contributor to our fast-growing team. Responsibilities include:
 

• Preparation and review of income tax and FBT returns

• Preparation and review of BAS and IAS

• Support and mentoring of bookkeeping function and team, including:

  • Xero setup and training (inc. COA)

  • Bank reconciliations

  • Accounts Payable processing

  • Accounts receivable processing

  • Manual journal entries

  • Reconciliations and review

  • Payroll calculations, review and related administration

This role represents a great opportunity for an experienced Tax Accountant to take their next step as part of a fast growing team with support from highly skilled and experienced professionals, while making a difference to our clients through outstanding client service delivery.

About you
You will bring your positive, can-do attitude, entrepreneurial mindset, professionalism and customer service focus and you will have:
 

• Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration/Management (or a related field)

• Current professional Accounting registration (CPA/CA, etc.)

• A minimum of 3 years experience working in Australian public-practice tax and accounting

• Outstanding time management skills

• Excellent professional communication skills (both written and verbal)

• Demonstrated attention to detail

• A strong commitment to customer service, confidentiality and continuous improvement
