Audiologist

About the role

You will provide high-quality, personalised audiological care in a friendly, independent hearing clinic. This position can be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis. This is an opportunity to enjoy a varied clinical caseload involving both paediatric and adult clients, while working in an environment where clinical care comes before sales. For the right person, there is also a genuine long-term pathway towards greater involvement in the business, including the potential for profit sharing or future business ownership.

Key responsibilities

• Comprehensive hearing assessments
• Paediatric and adult audiological assessments
• Diagnostic audiometry and tympanometry
• Hearing aid selection, fitting and programming
• Hearing aid reviews, adjustments and troubleshooting
• Tinnitus assessment, management and support
• Professional ear wax removal
• Client counselling and education
• Professional reporting and recommendations
• Liaising with GPs, specialists and allied health professionals

About you

• Experienced and confident in clinical practice
• Accredited HSP practitioner
• Member of AcAUd or AudA with CCP
• Professional, friendly and approachable
• Passionate about providing excellent client care
• Comfortable working with both paediatric and adult clients
• Confident with hearing aid technology and programming
• Interested in tinnitus management and broader hearing healthcare
• Experienced in or willing to perform ear wax removal
• Able to work independently while contributing positively to a team
