This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing commercial team where you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of trade activities, customer administration, promotional planning and reporting across the Independent Pharmacy channel. Reporting to the National Account Manager, you’ll work closely with Key Account Managers, customer partners and cross-functional teams to help drive profitable growth and operational excellence.

The Opportunity

As the Account Executive for Independent Pharmacy, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day administration and coordination that underpins successful customer relationships and account performance. You’ll play a key support role in promotions, trade spend management, forecasting administration, new product launches and reporting, ensuring all activities are delivered accurately, on time and in line with customer requirements. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented and enjoys working in a fast-paced commercial environment where no two days are the same.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Managing customer administration, including customer forms, new line forms and coordination of account requirements.
• Preparing and submitting promotional plans in line with customer deadlines and requirements.
• Supporting Trade Promotion Management (TPM) administration, including tracking trade investment and promotional activity.
• Maintaining accurate forecasting inputs and coordinating updates with internal stakeholders.
• Supporting the ranging and launch of new products, including new line paperwork and deletion management.
• Coordinating customer activation requirements, including product information,submissions and sample management.
• Preparing regular sales and customer reports, ensuring a high level of accuracy.
• Tracking and resolving operational issues relating to orders, claims, supply and quality concerns.
• Maintaining accurate pricing, trade spend and customer documentation.
• Managing monthly communications to the field sales team through newsletters and updates.
• Conducting distribution and sales reporting analysis to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Supporting the preparation and administration of range reviews and customer presentations

What You’ll Bring

• Previous experience in an Account Executive, Sales Support, Commercial Administration or Customer Support role.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong administrative and process management capability.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Experience using ERP, customer portals and trade promotion systems will be highly regarded.
• Exposure to pharmacy, FMCG or retail environments is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Confidence using digital tools and AI-enabled technologies such as Microsoft Copilot.
• A proactive mindset and willingness to learn and grow within a commercial team.
