Demolition & Asbestos Removal Labourer

About the role

A & V Contractors Pty Ltd are seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join their demolition team based in Adelaide. This role involves travelling to various job sites and assisting with residential demolition projects from start to finish. This hands-on position includes asbestos removal, dismantling roofing and structural elements, operating demolition tools, and maintaining a safe and organised work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the safe and efficient demolition of residential structures

• Travel between job sites to complete scheduled demolition and removal work

• Operate demolition equipment and tools, including jackhammers, saws and drills

• Remove and dispose of debris and waste materials responsibly

• Maintain a clean, organised, and hazard-free work environment

• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures at all times

About you

• Previous experience as a Labourer, ideally within the construction or demolition industry

• Experience using demolition tools and equipment

• Strong physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour tasks

• Reliable team member with the ability to follow instructions

• Drivers Licence

• Construction White Card (mandatory)

• Asbestos Ticket (preferred)

• Truck and/or excavation licences (highly regarded but not essential)
