Maintenance Fitter - 4 on, 4 off, Rotating Roster | Carole Park, QLD

Full-time | $51.09/hr (including penalties) + tool allowance + production bonus | Comgroup Supplies

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Fitter to join our ever-growing maintenance team, located at our Carole Park site.

🌤️ CURRENTLY AVAILABLE:

• 4 on, 4 off Rotating Roster - AM/PM Shifts.

• 4 consecutive working days (x2 AM shifts: 4.15am - 2.15pm, x2 PM shifts: 1.45pm - 11.45pm), then 4 consecutive days off.

🛠️ DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Support the production operations through proactive/reactive maintenance.

• Fabrication and repair of food processing equipment/machinery.

• Minimise downtime of production through preventitive maintenance and problem-solving.

• Support current and upcoming projects/upgrade processes.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on machinery, including lockout/tagout procedures, PPE usage and equipment guarding.

• Regular reporting to the site Mechanical Leading Head.

🦺 REQUIREMENTS OF THIS ROLE:

• Certificate 3 - Mechanical Engineering.

• Metal and stainless steel fabrication skills and experience (machining/ TIG welding).

• Experience working within a production/food manufacturing environment - advantageous.

• Knowledge of production machinery to be able to tend to breakdowns or other assigned tasks.

• Ability to work autonomously, as well as in a team environment.

• Self-motivated and a fast learner.

• LF Forklift Licence - desirable, but not mandatory.

• Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle to get to and from work.

• Permanent working rights in Australia - citizen or permanent resident.
