⚡ WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Carrying out mechanical installation, maintenance, repairs and overhauls

• Working on pumps, compressors, conveyors, gearboxes, valves and hydraulic systems

• Performing preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance

• Mechanical fault finding and breakdown repairs

• Equipment installation, alignment and commissioning

• Assisting with plant upgrades and equipment modifications

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and maintenance documentation

• Supporting project, shutdown and maintenance activities

• Working safely and efficiently to meet project schedules

• Maintaining high standards of quality, safety and workmanship

🛠️ WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The successful applicants will have:

• Australian-recognised Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualification

• Proven experience in fixed plant maintenance, mechanical fitting or industrial projects

• Current driver's licence

• Current Working at Heights ticket — obtained within the last 2 years

• Current Confined Space Entry ticket — obtained within the last 2 years

• Current Construction White Card

• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening

• Strong commitment to safety, reliability and quality workmanship

⭐ HIGHLY REGARDED

• High Risk Work Licence – Rigging

• Forklift Licence

• EWP Licence

• Gas Test Atmospheres

• Experience with fixed plant

• Experience in mining, mineral processing, manufacturing, refinery or heavy industrial environments
