Registered Nurse PACU/ Recovery

About The Role

We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Registered Nurse with experience in PACU / Recovery to join our clinical team on a part time basis with a minimum 54 hours per fortnight. Experience in Paediatrics desirable.

Great work/ life balance - Monday to Friday flexible roster, no on call shifts or public holidays.

Duties And Responsibilities

This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.

Assist the nursing team to deliver safe, evidence-based patient careEnsure the theatre complex and equipment are ready for surgeryEnsure patient safety and communication with surgical team is always a key focusMonitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complicationsDeliver education and support to patients for the management of their recoverySupervise and support Enrolled Nurses on shift

About You

You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:

Solid experience in Recovery/ PACU nursingCurrent AHPRA registration as a Registered NurseExperience in Paediatrics desirableExceptional interpersonal and communication skills  A true commitment to delivering high quality patient care Experience in below specialties desirable
