BGW Group of Companies is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Accounts Receivable Team as an Accounts Receivable Officer at our Support Office at Pinkenba. This position will be a full time permanent position commencing as soon as possible.

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Accounts Receivable professional to join our team supporting a national, family owned business.  Two years experienced is desired, but not essential, but rather an individual who is keen and willing to learn.

Requirements of the role include:

·         Wholesale / electrical or plumbing accounts receivable experience preferred.

·         Dissecting and receipting into our accounting system of customer payments.

·         Assisting with reconciliation of bank accounts.

·         Maintain and clear unreconciled transactions on the bank reconciliation report.

·         Customer account maintenance, including the reconciling of payments and accounts, resolving dispute or outstanding transactions with branch staff to maintain accounts.

·         Liaising with branch staff to process customer account queries, payments and banking.

·         Liaising with the Credit team regarding customer accounts.

·         Processing cheques and cash received at our Support Office at Pinkenba.

·         Ideally a basic understanding of Excel
