Support Worker - Vietnamese speaking

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will assist clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. You will play a key role in enhancing their quality of life by providing person-centered care and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care (e.g., bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with meal preparation and household tasks
• Transporting clients to appointments or community activities
• Maintaining accurate records and reporting changes in clients’ conditions

About You

• Previous experience as a Support Worker or in a similar role (preferred but not essential)
• A caring, patient, and empathetic nature
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Willingness to undergo relevant background checks (Police Check, Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening)
• Relevant certifications such as First Aid, CPR, and Manual Handling (preferred)
• A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle (desirable but not essential)

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $34.00 – $37.00 per hour
