The opportunity

Lilydale Hyundai, GWM & LDV, an Eastern Suburbs automotive dealership, is seeking an experienced Dealership Parts Manager to play a pivotal role in the success of their parts and accessories operations. As the Dealership Parts Manager, you will be responsible for managing the efficient and effective delivery of parts and accessories to support the servicing and repair of Hyundai, GWM and LDV vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the parts department, ensuring efficient inventory management, order fulfilment and customer service.

• Develop and implement strategies to optimise parts stock levels, minimise shortages and maximise profitability.

• Liaise with the sales and service teams to understand customer needs and ensure timely delivery of parts.

• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favourable terms to support the business.

• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.

What we're looking for

• Substantial experience as a Dealership Parts Manager or in a similar role within the automotive industry.

• Extensive knowledge of automotive parts, accessories and inventory management systems.

• Strong problem-solving, decision-making and organisational skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively liaise with customers, suppliers and the dealership team.

• Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
