Senior Registered Migration Agent - Work remotely - from anywhere in Australia

Immigration to Australia does not happen overnight. It requires careful planning and an in depth understanding of complex eligibility criteria. AVIE plans migration pathway's for clients and is solution focused.  We carefully explain to clients what they need to do and when. We provide detailed written advice to ensure the process to achieve temporary or permanent residence is clear from the beginning.

The Migration Agent role:

• Full time position. Part time for the right personal also considered.

• Our main office is in Melbourne however, this role can be remote so you can be located anywhere in Australia.

• Salary is negotiable based on experience.

Main responsibilities:

• Manage your own caseload of migration cases from start to finish.

• Keep up to date with all changes and developments in Migration Law and policy.

• Prepare submissions for complex cases

• Undertake detailed consultations on ALL visa subclasses 

• Provide professional, clear, and concise advice to all clients and companies.

• Understand the client’s visa history, case and migration goals by recommending visa pathways and options.

• Prepare and lodge precise visa applications with the Department of Home Affairs.

• Keep accurate records of all details pertaining to client’s cases and daily workload.

• Mentor and lead as required. 

Required Skills:

• At least 5-10 years of experience as a Registered Migration Agent in a diverse range of ALL visa subclasses from family to skilled and Employer Sponsored Visa process from beginning to end.

• Ability to assess eligibilty of applicants and employers promptly and with a deep level of understanding of migration law.

• Client focused, positive, with a curious and can-do attitude.

• Maintain accurate records of client’s cases and deadlines.

• Previous use of Migration Manager (LEAP) software highly desirable, but not mandatory.

• Can work autonomously and as part of a team when required.
