About the role
Closing Date: 13/09/2026
Join our dedicated Acute and Subacute Physiotherapy team at Albury Wodonga Health as an Allied Health Assistant. Working within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment, you will support patient care across acute medical, surgical and oncology wards, with opportunities to gain experience in subacute and rehabilitation services. Primary responsibilities include:
• Direct Patient Care
• Managing and ordering equipment and resources
• Running exercise groups
• Supervising Allied Health Assistant students
The position will be working with a group of passionate and motivated, team orientated Physiotherapy staff who will help to guide you with your caseload. Additionally, we have very experienced AHA's in all areas who can assist with aspects of systems training as required. If you are newly graduated, almost complete or simply looking for a change, we would love to hear from you!
We also offer a structured supervision program and annual PDP to focus on and enable skills development, career growth and a focus on looking after our team.
A drivers licence is required and this role may require flexibility with attending each campus depending on patient demand.
Employment Type: This is a part-time (24 hours per week), permanent position
