About the Role

We are seeking a Manager Engineering to play a key role in the safe and efficient operations of the Hillside Copper-Gold Project. Reporting to the Head of Operations, this role will lead and develop the site engineering team, oversee mechanical and electrical engineering activities, and drive maintenance planning and repair management across the concentrator and supporting infrastructure.

This role will be based at our Hillside project, near Ardrossan, South Australia, and offers an exciting opportunity to support site start-up and ongoing operations of a major greenfield project.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Building and leading the engineering teams to support the successful delivery of the Hillside project.

• Driving operational readiness activities across the engineering function, including the mobilisation of engineering personnel.

• Development of engineering and maintenance planning systems and tools, procedures and frameworks.

• Promoting a strong safety and environmental culture across all engineering activities.

• Providing expert technical guidance and support to supervisors and team members while assisting the team with preparations for operational readiness.

• Leading continuous improvement initiatives for the optimisation of design, operations, and maintenance costs.

About You

• Relevant engineering or mechanical/electrical trade qualifications, or significant demonstrated industry experience, with 10+ years’ relevant industry experience including 3+ years in a leadership role.

• Experience with base metal concentrator maintenance, including crushing, grinding and flotation.

• Exposure to developing maintenance planning systems, tools, procedures, and frameworks.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams.

• Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and cost-control measures.

• Mine start-up or greenfield project experience will be highly regarded.
