Traffic Control Supervisor

Acquired Awareness Traffic Management is a highly regarded supplier of all Traffic Management Solutions with large government and private sector contracts covering numerous projects and locations.

We are currently looking for an Operations Supervisor to join our busy Brendale team to work in the Brisbane area.

For this role, we require someone who is a good communicator, who will remain calm under pressure, has traffic management experience, is self-motivated and is able to multitask.

Supervisor Duties

• Supervision of traffic controllers within South East Queensland

• Complete site inspections, vehicle audits, installation of permanent signage 

• After-hours rostering of traffic control personnel (training provided)

• Liaise with clients regarding work orders, client requirements, scheduling matters

• Perform traffic control, traffic management implementation duties when required

• Other duties as required

Required experience, abilities, and qualifications

Candidate must:

• Hold the following current Licences - Australian Manual Driver Licence (HR preferred), White Card, Qld Traffic Control Industry Authority, Qld Traffic Management Implementation card

• Have a minimum one year traffic management experience

• Be a ‘hands on’ person who enjoys problem solving

• Be self-motivated, proactive and solutions orientated

• Have effective communication and planning and administrative skills

• Be proficient at MS Office and allocations software

• Have the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
