Casual Food Runners

The Role 

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Food Runners to join our front-of-house team. You will be tasked with helping to deliver consistent world-class service within a team of professionals in a supportive and encouraging environment.

MUST BE AVAILABLE FRIDAY AND SATURDAY EVENINGS

Key Selection Criteria 

Previous experience as a Food Runner or equivalent in a high-end venue. 

A good command of spoken English. 

The ability to offer warm, friendly and informed service. 

Good attention to detail and strong product knowledge. 

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with guests. 

Positive attitude. Willing to learn, share and participate 

A love of food and creating amazing experiences for our guests. 

Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume restaurant environment 

Flexibility to work a rotating roster including some weekend work. 

Exceptional grooming standards appropriate for a high-end dining environment. 

Currently hold or be able to obtain a valid NSW RSA Certificate. 

All employees will be required to undergo a police check as part of the onboarding process.

About WOODCUT 

Situated within the world-class Crown Resort. Woodcut is owned and operated by award-winning couple, Chef Ross and Sunny Lusted.

Located in prime position on Sydney harbour, Woodcut provides Sydneysiders with a unique dining experience that celebrates Australian produce and cooking with wood, charcoal and steam.  

The dining room at Woodcut is anchored by four open kitchens, each centered on their own cooking method and three with their own Kitchen Counter seats where guests have a front-row seat to “the show”. Woodcut can seat up to 260 guests and has two Private Dining Rooms, an extensive outdoor terrace with stunning harbour views as well as Hickory Bar which can accommodate 80 guests.
