Casual Section Waiters

The Role
We’re looking for enthusiastic and motivated Section Waiters to join our front-of-house team. You’ll play a key role in delivering world-class service in a supportive, professional, and friendly environment where teamwork and growth are encouraged.

Must be available on Friday and Saturday evening shift.

Key Selection Criteria

• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, with a focus on evenings and weekends – balanced with the opportunity to enjoy a roster that supports your lifestyle.

• Previous experience as a Section Waiter in a high-end venue.

• Excellent command of spoken English.

• Warm, friendly and professional service approach.

• Attention to detail and strong product knowledge.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with guests.

• Positive attitude, with a willingness to learn, share and contribute.

• A genuine love of food and creating memorable experiences.

• Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

• Impeccable grooming standards suited to fine dining.

• Current NSW RSA Certificate (or ability to obtain).

• Willingness to complete a police check as part of onboarding.

About WOODCUT 

Situated within the world-class Crown Resort. Woodcut is owned and operated by award-winning couple Chef Ross and Sunny Lusted.

Located in prime position on Sydney harbour, Woodcut provides Sydneysiders with a unique dining experience that celebrates Australian produce and cooking with wood, charcoal and steam.  

The dining room at Woodcut is anchored by four open kitchens, each centered on their own cooking method and three with their own Kitchen Counter seats where guests have a front-row seat to “the show”. Woodcut can seat up to 260 guests and has two Private Dining Rooms, an extensive outdoor terrace with stunning harbour views as well as Hickory Bar which can accommodate 80 guests.
