Inspector / Trainer – Waterproofing & Screeding

Armourguard Building Services is a well-established and rapidly expanding waterproofing company based in Metro Melbourne. We proudly work with some of Australia’s largest volume builders, delivering premium screeding and waterproofing services across Metro Melbourne and surrounding regional areas.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced ex-waterproofers or ex-tilers to step into an Inspector / Trainer role. This position is perfectly suited to tradespeople who know the industry inside out and are looking for a long-term, secure role away from full-time installation work.

The Role

As an Inspector / Trainer, you will:

• Inspect completed waterproofing and screeding works after our installers

• Ensure all works meet Armourguard’s high standards and builder requirements

• Provide on-site guidance, mentoring, and training to installers where required

• Complete daily reports and communicate directly with our office team

We are currently hiring inspectors for the following divisions:

• North-West

• South-East

• Regional West / North

About You

This role is ideal for someone who:

• Has previous waterproofing, screeding, or tiling experience

• Takes pride in quality workmanship and industry standards

• Can work independently and show initiative

• Has a professional attitude and works well as part of a team

• Is confident communicating with installers, supervisors, and management

• White Construction Card

• Current Driver’s Licence

• Basic set of power tools
