About the role

We are currently looking for an application specialist with a passion for IT, serving customers in the ANZ region.
Sectra is one of the world’s leading providers of IT systems for managing medical images. We understand that knowing how to use our products in the best and most effective way is just as important as the product itself. Therefore, we support our customers from beginning to end, and even beyond, to ensure full customer satisfaction.
The Application Specialist role will support deployment, training and BAU demand for Sectra's solutions across Australia and New Zealand, additionally supporting Sales activities where needed. To do this you will need to maintain a strong product and workflow knowledge and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
We are looking for a Victorian based Application Specialist to support our growing footprint in the region. We would also like to hear from interested candidates based in Sydney for future roles.
Working as an application specialist
Our application specialists are experts when it comes to using the Sectra applications. Their aim is to optimise our customers’ use of our different solutions to their best advantage. This includes responsibilities such as (not an exhaustive list):
Provide on-site and web-based training as well as classroom training. Make new site deployment configurations and workflow analysis. Create internal and external documents. Work closely with our Professional Services, Technical Support and Sales Departments to provide application knowledge and support, and be involved in deployment activities including delivering training to customers on a range of Sectra solutions. Become an important point of reference for all application queries, from customers and other internal contacts and departments. Be part of a team with good colleagues, where you are responsible for helping our clients with operating support, configuration and training in Sectra’s IT solutions. Help our customers with workflow analyses and business improvements to make them as effective as possible in their daily workBe an important contact person for application issues, both for customers and internally within the companyYour daily work will be carried out in close cooperation with Sectra’s customers and end users in the ANZ region which means regular travel and work at the customers’ premises.

To perform well in this role, we want you to have:
A Bachelor’s Degree in a Health related field (e.g. radiography or other clinical subject), or relevant clinical experienceFluent in English both verbally and written. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. A strong interest in usability and medical IT. Have excellent customer service skills as well as verbal, written, listening and presenting skills. Self-driven and an accountable personality.
In addition, we consider it as an asset if you also:
Previous experience with PACS implementations. Experience in the use of PACS and its configuration and knowledge of clinical workflows and processes. Worked as an Applications Specialist. Have experience with other cultures and countries.
Other information:
Regular travel is anticipated as part of the Application Specialist role (e.g. to office, customer sites, conferences etc).
