The role
Join a team that helps shape NSW communities by ensuring the state’s most significant development and infrastructure projects meet planning and environmental obligations. Working across a diverse portfolio of State Significant Development and State Significant Infrastructure projects, you'll investigate complex compliance matters, review project performance and provide trusted advice that supports responsible development outcomes across the state. Based in the Hunter region, you’ll support a large and diverse geographic area encompassing major urban centres, regional communities and rural areas.
This role suits someone who enjoys solving problems, analysing information and managing competing priorities. No two days are the same. You'll work with a wide range of stakeholders to resolve complex issues, drive compliance outcomes and contribute to continuous improvement in a fast-paced and high-profile environment. The role combines analytical work, stakeholder engagement and site-based compliance activities, offering variety, challenge and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
The team is known for its collaborative culture, technical expertise and practical approach to regulation. You'll be supported by experienced colleagues while having the autonomy to manage complex matters, influence outcomes and further develop your professional expertise.
